アルフレッド・ステパン (Alfred C. Stepan、1936年7月22日 - 2017年9月27日) は、アメリカ合衆国の政治学者。専門は、比較政治学、民主化研究、ラテンアメリカ政治。
1958年、ノートルダム大学卒業。1960年にオックスフォード大学で修士号を取得後、『エコノミスト』の特派員としてアフリカやラテンアメリカを取材。1969年、コロンビア大学で博士号（政治学）を取得。ランドコーポレーション研究員、イェール大学政治学部教授、中央ヨーロッパ大学教授、オックスフォード大学教授を経て、1999年からコロンビア大学教授。
